MARTIN, Clayton Riley - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington – Clayton Riley Martin, 99 of Covington died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday Nov 16, 2006 in Provena United Samaritan Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.  Born April 28, 1970, near Stringtown he was the son of the late Perry Elmer and Madelena Mary Berto Martin.  He was married June 22, 1931 in Lafayette to Doris Dee Bonebrake and she died July 2, 2004. They spent winters in Florida for 23 years. Mr. Martin worked in coal mines and operated the family farm.  He later owned his own limestone hauling business.  He was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge for 50 years.  He enjoyed dancing. Surviving are two sons, Bernard C. Martin of Mulberry and Duane Martin (wife Louella) of Covington.  Services are Monday in Covington. – kbz
